Saturday 9/6/2014 9:30AM 2-L 24.4 miles - stage from Pleasanton Sports Park (Hopyard and Parkside).
 
This is a beginner-friendly ride geared for Feather Pedals.  Ride to Sunol and to the end of Kilkare Road and return through some nice Pleasanton neighborhoods.  There is a bit of a climb out to the end of Kilkare Road, but a nice downhill on the return Emoji 
 
There are restrooms at the Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park on Foothill (on the way out and on the return), and at the Sunol Train Station (no TP on Monday 9/1/2014 Emoji - please plan accordingly).
 
Ample opportunities for lunch / socializing in the shopping centers at the corner of Hopyard and Valley.
 
To get to Pleasanton Sports Park:  Exit I-580 onto Hopyard Road south towards Pleasanton.  Turn left onto Parkside (second light after bridge).  Take second entrance (Yield sign) and park near restrooms.
