Starting from the Old Nob Hill parking lot on the corner of Pacific and Livermore Ave, we will head out to the Junction on Mines Road. We'll watch the DMD a little and see the new cafe.
The route can be modified the usual way, by turning around at the Santa Clara county line ( total 43 miles, 2,800' of vertical ) or wherever desired.The Junction is located at mile 116 for the DMDers, so the suffering has just begun on their 207 mile ride through the absolute most challenging roads in the east bay. Good luck to Marc Goroff who is riding it. We'll be rooting for you, Marc! The DMDers begin at 5 am so we will cross paths with them on our return back to Livermore.
