3.5-M 44 miles,  3700 ft of climbing,  9:00 a.m.  Advanced Ride.

Starting from Waterfront park in Martinez, we will ride over Pig Farm hill and The Bears and return along San Pablo Bay and the Carquinez Strait shoreline.  There will be some regroups, especially at the top of the Pig Farm climb.  There'll be a rest stop at Peet's in Pinole (2712 Pinole Valley Rd.).  We will ride by Wildcat Canyon and Briones Park and finish the loop back where we started at the Martinez waterfront park.  Some members of the Benicia Bike Club may join us for the ride.

Take I-680 North.  Exit on Marina Vista just before the Benicia Bridge.  Go west (left) on Marina Vista Ave.   Turn right on Ferry St. and go into Martinez waterfront park and turn left into the first parking lot.  There are rest rooms at the park.  Drive time is about 45 minutes from the Pleasanton area.
