Shannon Center to 5 Canyons

SUN. 2/9/14 3-M 29 miles 9:30 a.m.

We will start at Shannon Park in Dublin located at the corner of San Ramon Road and Shannon Avenue. The route will have us climb Dublin Boulevard and descend Schaefer Ranch Road to Dublin Canyon Road and continue into east Castro Valley. From here we will climb 5 Canyons Road and go up to the Hayward Hills. The return will descend through Hayward. After a rest stop at Bodi's Java in Castro Valley we will retrace our way back to Shannon Park. The ride has about 3,000+ feet of climbing with nice vistas from the Hayward Hills.
