Ride Details
Join us on Saturday, June 15th starting at 9:00am as we ride from Fremont to Portola Valley via the Dumbarton Bridge. There are 3 route options for you to choose from, a 40 mile route that goes up to Woodside, a 50 mile option that continues further on Canada road to the Water Temple, and a 60 mile option that extends all the way up to Crystal Springs Road in San Mateo. All routes have a coffee break at the Village Bakery in Woodside and a brunch break at the historic Rosotti's Alpine Inn.
Note that the first 2 miles of road to / from the starting point is rather bumpy.
Start Time: 9:00am Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Please note that the starting point is in Fremont, so give yourself plenty of time to get there and prepare to ride. Restrooms (porta potties) are available at the start of the ride. Since we are heading out of our familiar Tri-Valley area, we will have several regroups along the way. Please download the route onto your bike computer or print out a route sheet.
You do not need to be a member to ride with us. However, if you are going to ride with us often then we encourage you to become a member. You must register for the ride regardless of membership status.
Re-groups:
Coffee: Village Bakery (approx. 15 miles from the start for all routes)
Lunch: Rosotti's Alpine Inn (approx. 22 / 32 / 42 miles from the start for the 40 / 50 / 60 mile routes)
Cancellation: In case of cancellation due to rain or any other reason, an email will be sent the night before by 8pm
