9:00 am Sunol - Sierra Rd. summit

4-M 43 miles 9:00 a.m.  Starting in Sunol by the RR station we'll ride out past the Calaveras reservoir and down the 'wall' to Felter Rd.  Then we'll head up Felter to the summit along Sierra Rd. before returning on the same route.  About 3000' of climbing with some steep pitches (but note that it's out-and-back so many options to shorten the ride).  Bring plenty of water since there isn't any place to refill.  Meet at the Sunol railroad station, but park in the dirt lot across the street to the south.
