Lexington - Santa Cruz

The weather looks great for this Saturday's out of town ride staging from Lexington School in the Santa Cruz Mountains (Lexington Elementary School, 19700 Old Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos, CA) at 9:30 a.m.    Rob Delfosse and I will be cohosting this beautiful, scenic route down to Santa Cruz and back.  Rob does a wonderful job of selecting routes on roads that are amazing, though the first road (Mt. Charlie) may be a little suspect...we will be climbing it, so shouldn't be a problem.  There will be lots to check out and explore.  Look for some great views as we pass the Seymour Marine Discovery Center and UC Santa Cruz.  Depending on group consensus, we may stop for coffee at Firefly at mile 28 and  Peet's at mile 45 in Scotts Valley.  We will probably have lunch afterwards at Andale's in Los Gatos.
