(+) This ride will be a little longer with a bit more climbing than usual for my Friday rides. The goal is to get to Doolan Canyon which our group has not done before. After our return from the canyon we will stop at the 85 degree Cafe & Bakery at The Pearl before our return.
SPECIAL NOTE- We will be climbing Bollinger on the walk/bike path. For those who would rather not, or would like to shorten the ride, park at the Peet's/Safeway parking lot at the intersection of Bollinger & Dogherty. Cross the road with your bike, and meet us as we head Eastbound on Bollinger. It is a large intersection so there is plenty of room to wait. We should be there about 9:10 - 9:15.
This Friendly Friday series of rides will start at Sports Basement and be geared toward the riders who show. Sports Basement is located at 1041 Market Place, one block south of Central Park and the Valero station. ALL riders are welcomed! We generally do a coffee shop stop near the end of the ride. (Beginner Friendly)
Today's Coffee Stop will be at 85 Degree Cafe & Bakery in the Pearl shopping center. There is lots of outdoor seating and plenty of room for bikes. They do take ApplePay.
