HEATHER FARM GRP: Ride from Martinez to DAVIS with AMTRAK return

RIDE STARTS AT 9:00 a.m. -  2.5-L/M 65 miles

The Heather Farm group will ride to Davis and return on AMTRAK.

Meet at the AMTRAK station in Martinez by the flag pole.

Be sure to download the ride for the correct date. The Wednesday, Oct. 27th, route has a coffee Stop in Vacaville.

No services between Vacaville and Winters so please plan accordingly and bring sufficient water and food.

Rain or poor air quality cancels.  You will get a "ride cancelled" email the morning of the ride (or earlier if possible) if the ride is cancelled. A cancellation notice will also be posted on the October 27th calendar listing.

Trains leave Davis at 4:10p.m. and 5:18p.m.  The train trip back to Martinez is 45 minutes.

You can purchase train tickets in advance.  If you do purchase train tickets in advance, you should wait to make sure the weather will be good on Wednesday and the ride won’t be cancelled.  If the air quality turns bad the $16 Adult ticket is 100% refundable if cancelled before departure. If you purchase group tickets check to see if the discounted fares are refundable. ____________________________________________________
