Greetings, Friends & Teammates! The VSRT 2023 season ride is on again every Thursday afternoon. This is a fast paced group ride around Livermore. The route is on strava as:

Our ride is open to all teammates and non-teammates.

Registration is is required. You have to sign up online for the ride or sign the club waiver at the start of the ride which registers you for the ride.

Ride notes:-

From Trek to the start of Collier Canyon Rd, we will keep the group together at a social pace. If anyone sees another rider dropped by a stoplight, please signal the group so we can either slow down or safely pull over.

-Collier Canyon to Ames/Raymond will be our fast segment. For anyone who falls behind the Peloton, it is recommended to take one or both of the shortcuts in effort to rejoin the group while in motion. Here is a link to the shortcut segment: https://www.strava.com/routes/2944128631275359162. For safety, please make a u-turn at Martingale Lane/Ames before regrouping at the corner of Ames/Raymond.

-We intend to keep the group together from the regroup point through the end. We do tend to sprint up the Greenville hill, so feel free to join us if you have the legs for it!

-Pacelines often form during the rides. If you haven't done it before, or are relatively new to it, here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDxXRq5fo8A. This may help people understand how to rotate in cross winds, how to rotate in an echelon, etc.
