This is a Valley Spokesmen's annual cyclocross race, race #1 of the prestigious "BASP" cyclocross race series. Starting in 2023, we added Jim Lund to the race name to honor our long-time teammate and friend, who embodied everything we strive for with VSRT.
There are opportunities for cyclocross racing and just riding for fun. Mountain bike trails will also be open from Friday afternoon through Sunday mid-day. Come join us!
Date: Saturday, September 28
Location: Rancho Los Mochos Boy Scout Camp, ~15 miles south of Livermore along Mines road
18450 Mines Rd, Livermore, CA 94550
Ride Start: Races start at 9am.
Ride Rating: 4S (4- Steep grades with relief, S- rapid strenuous pace). It's a race... in reality the ride rating will only be as hard as you make it. ;-)
Note: There will be camping available Friday and Saturday, and indoor lodging available for some volunteers.
