Speaker/Topic - DAVE HAMMOND - Mt. Diablo "Hole-in-the-Wall" Review & Update

Dave Hammond has been the central figure in the fight for public access to Mt. Diablo's South Gate entrance using the popular and more recently closed "Hole-in-the-Wall" cut-through from Alameda Diablo to Mt. Diablo Scenic Boulevard. 

Topic Details - Dave will give a history of cyclist use and access to Mount Diablo through the South Gate. He will present fascinating historical maps, graphics, and photos from the Contra Costa Historical Society and other sources and tell the story of the importance of the "Hole-in-the-Wall" while updating us on the recent legal battles and current status of re-opening.
