We will make our way to Mt. Diablo Junction Ranger Station via South Gate Road. From there, we will descend via N. Gate Road into Walnut Creek and Clayton. After a stop for a light lunch/snack in Clayton, we will head up to the top of Morgan Territory followed by a steep descent onto largely flat roads back into Danville.

Be prepared to be self-sufficient. Carry water, tubes, pump or CO2 cartridges and plenty of snacks and water.

Re-group points: Ranger Station, N. Gate Entrance, Grove Park in Clayton, Morgan Territory Staging Area, Manning Road intersection, Camino Tassajara intersection

Restroom Availability: Diablo Vista Park, Diablo Ranger Station, Grove Park, Morgan Territory Staging Area

There will not be a designated sweep for the ride. We will have regroups, and we will all look after one another. If you leave the ride, please text the ride host when you end your ride, or if you need assistance.

E-Bikes are encouraged because they allow riders to participate in rides that otherwise couldn't. E-bikes must be pedal assist only.

All participants must register online on the VSBC website or via the Wild Apricot app. You do not need to be a VSBC member, but we’d appreciate your support and you’ll appreciate the many benefits in being a member.
