RIDE DETAILS
Please join us to remember Karen Kaiser, VSBC member, extraordinary person and dear friend to many of us. Karen was an integral part of the club. She led many club rides from Heather Farms and planned multiple bike trips to San Diego, Tucson, British Columbia, and the Erie Canal. She was an organizer for the Mountain Challenge and served on the VSBC Board of Directors. Karen is remembered by many for being a true leader. She prioritized the safety of all riders by extending a helping hand to slower riders and those less experienced. Her friendly, outgoing nature made every newcomer feel welcomed. Karen left us too soon, but her memory lives on in our hearts.
This ride will be a no drop ride and may separate into several groups determined by rolling speed. You select where you want to ride based on your comfort zone (see below).
There is a coffee stop on this ride.
You must register online on the VSBC website or via the Wild Apricot app in order to participate in the ride. Please bring your own route sheet as I will not have any paper copies. You do not need to be a VSBC member in order to participate in this ride, but we ask that you become a member if you ride with us more than 3 times in a year.
Arrive in time to be ready to ride at 9:00 a.m.
